60 and Sunshine

Today has been GORGEOUS ! After two weeks of near-freezing temps and grey, damp skies we were near sixty degrees and had a full day of sunshine. Princess and I sat outside more than two hours enjoying the spring-like weather.

We weren't alone. For the first time in weeks, the birds were singing all around. It was as if we all had endured the dreary winter weather awaiting a reprieve. I felt like part of the natural chorus celebrating a bright moment.

I wish it would be 60 here...it's been freakin hot here even in the middle of the supposed winter, we've had 85 degree days.

I don't think even a picture could have described that better. Now that you reminded me of Princess, could you perhaps dedicate your next post to her? Also, did you know that if you rearrange the letters in her name, it spells Sperncis? I thought that was interesting.
