Happy Holidays

November and December are awesome! We are so blessed to have an annual celebration of thanksgiving and giving. These really are happy holidays. We had a great time in Arkansas with my cousin's family, my aunts and uncles, and my grandparents. There was plenty of food and fun to go around. We've decided to join my brother and his wife for Christmas. It'll be a long drive to Florida. But it's worth it because we get to enjoy that time 1) with them 2) in Florida! So, we give thanks for our maany blessings in November. We are so grateful we drop everything else and get together. Then we have a few weeks to buy or make stuff to give each other. It's a really cool thing, even apart from the Christian elements. In light of God's word it's even more awesome because we get to put our faith in practice. Scripture challenges us "In all things give thanks" and "it is more blessed to give than receive." We step outside ourselves and show our love and appreciation. No wonder we say "Happy Holidays".
